Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the process, costs and suitability.
Can unskilled candidates apply?
Yes. Both skilled and unskilled candidates are considered. Trainable roles may also arise depending on employer needs.
Who covers the costs?
Travel, accommodation and process costs are covered by the relevant employer. No upfront payment is requested from candidates.
Is there an application form?
No. All pre-information and assessment take place by phone.
In which countries are there opportunities?
Matching is carried out in sectors with demand across Western and Central Europe. No specific country is guaranteed; suitability depends on employer needs.
How long does the process take?
Duration varies with profile, documentation and employer processes. A concrete timeline is shared by phone according to the individual case.
Is the Council a government body?
No. The European Employment Council is an independent advisory and matching brand. It does not act on behalf of EU institutions, national employment agencies or ministries.
Do I need to send documents before the first call?
No. Initial information is provided by phone and this website has no document upload area. If a specific match progresses, the documents needed and how they will be handled are explained separately.
Is a particular job or country guaranteed?
No. Suitability depends on the candidate profile and the employer's current needs. The first call is not a job offer or a promise of placement in a particular country.
Who decides on a work permit?
Work permits and other official steps follow the processes of the relevant employer and competent authorities. The final decision belongs to the competent authorities; a phone call does not itself grant a permit.
